About Bridgette

Clinical professionalism, without clinical distance.

I believe therapy can be serious without being sterile. Change requires honesty, compassion, practice, and sometimes a sense of humor when facing life’s hardest challenges.

Bridgette Lovett, Licensed Professional Counselor

Bridgette Lovett, LPC, M.A., Ed.M.

I hold a Master of Arts and a Master of Education in Counseling from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Miami. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and have been in the counseling field for seven years.

My recent clinical background includes residential addiction treatment, where I worked with people navigating substance use disorders alongside depression, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, and other mental health concerns. That experience shaped a direct approach grounded in recovery work and in what clients can practice outside the therapy hour.

I have also worked as a school counselor with middle and high school students. That experience informs my work with adolescents and families.

I welcome individuals and couples who want to work on communication, trust, boundaries, or recurring conflict, whether or not addiction is part of their lives.

My philosophy

“You become what you do a lot of” is not a demand for perfection. It is a reminder that repeated behavior shapes confidence, identity, relationships, and recovery. Therapy helps make those repetitions more intentional.

Healing should feel possible.
